Thank you. I was wondering if someone that's using it or used it for more information as GP's hardly know how to advise on matters this this.

I read about someone who metabolised HC too quickly, and therefore felt better on a synthetic version (prednisone or Medrol). They are converted to cortisol in the body and last for about 24 hours. The equivalent dose would be 2.5 mg of pred or 2 mg of Medrol. Was your HC prescribed by your GP or your endo?
No, if you only take 10 mg daily (so not a full replacement dose), it´s usually recommended to take it in the morning to support the adrenal glands when they are busiest.
10mg can make you feel worse. I needed 20mg and sometimes more if I was under stress. I was on HC for 6 months but decided no more as I wasn't willing to risk it long term. My saviour has been pregnenolone and Armour thyroid. My cortisol levels are much better now and I feel like my light switch has turned back on.
No please don't go cold turkey. It may be easier for you only being on 10mg to reduce by 2.5mg every week and get off it that way. I replaced with 50 mg of pregnenolone and it makes me feel so much better than HC ever did. It's also cheap and easy to get. Read up Ray Peat on pregnenolone.
