How long have you been diagnosed as hypothyroid?

What dose of Levo are you taking?

Do you take your Levo on it's own, on an empty stomach, with water and water only for one hour each side. Any other medication or supplements should be taken at least 2 hours away from Levo. This ensures nothing interferes with Levo's absorption.

Can you post your latest test results, including reference ranges as these vary from lab to lab, for

TSH

FT4

FT3

Thyroid antibodies

Have you had key nutrients tested? These need to be optimal for thyroid hormone to work properly and low nutrient levels or deficiencies cause symptoms. Tests needed are

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

Which brand of levothyroxine are you currently taking Do you always get same brand

Many people find different brands are not interchangeable

Always test thyroid levels as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Do you normally take levothyroxine waking or at bedtime

Always take levothyroxine on empty stomach and then nothing apart from water for at least an hour after

No supplements or other medications within 2 hours

Some like vitamin D, HRT, magnesium or iron not within 4 hours of taking levothyroxine

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Have you had thyroid antibodies tested

Assuming you have autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed by high thyroid antibodies, have you had coeliac blood test done yet
