Do you mean tyrosine or thyroxine (levothyroxine)? Tyrosine is an amino acid important to thyroid health & popular to support thyroid function. Do you currently take it?

For the reading of “T4” 15.4 We need to know the range and there isn’t a single range, they vary between labs. T4 is usually measured as Free T4 (FT4) If it not FT4 but Total you need to clarify what’s being measured.

A TSH of 0.14 is low. but that might not be a concern. It depends on if you have been diagnosed thyroid condition or are you currently taking replace Levo (T4) or Lio (T3) What dose?

TSH and FT4 isn’t an adequate test to know if your medicated well, you need FT3. Thyroid antibodies and folate, ferritin & B12 & vitamin D. Have these been tested?

Ask for a printout with ranges you are legally entitled to copies.

Please add range on Ft4

Obviously you need TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 tested together

Are you currently taking levothyroxine

If yes how much

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested.

Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once year minimum

all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
