shaws,

Yes, the repercussions of COVID spread far and wide.

Great excuse not to go to the dentist though 😬.

The dentists were rarely opened over the Christmas holidays. Mine was closed.

Did you need them? ☹️

Yes and because mine was closed I went to an emergency one but they wouldn't do anything for me. I didn't realise at the time I had the virus.

I was fortunate because I then had a number of calls to say I had the virus and had to follow the process. Thankfully dental symptoms resolved and yesterday got the 'all clear' for the virus.

I will now make an appointment if possible and I think mine might still be closed.

Yes, that's a big problem as few, dentists I think, will want to treat patients who could be carrying the virus.

Hopefully, we will all be able to return to a 'normal' way of life soon We have to be optimistic

and hopeful.

I hope you get your tooth repaired soon, . You may have an 'emergency' dental care within your area.

Hi Shaws,

I had a niggling tooth at the start of Covid pandemic that despite having been crowned a few months earlier still continued to annoy. Had everything been that wonderful word “normal”, I would’ve probably battled on having repeated procedures to save the damn thing.

I ended up having an extraction, which was done with full Covid safety procedures. Not my usual Dentist, though he was very proficient but I confess, I did think at one stage he would have to put his knee on my chest to get it out! LOL!.

I call it my Lock down legacy - thankfully it’s not at the front LOL! Don’t miss it! Guffaw!
