I have recently upped my meds to 75mcg from 50mcg however when going for my prescription my 50mcg pill is from accord and the additional 25mcg wockhardt. I did query this with the chemist and she said that the 25mcg and 75mcg they get in are from wockhardt and 50mcg and 100mcg from accord.
I know the forum advise keeping brands consistent - do I try it out and see how it goes?

Some people are fine mixing brands. Others feel best when sticking to one brand.
Accord don't make 25mcg tablets so if your 50mcg tablets are Accord and you want a 25mcg tablet it will have to be a different brand. Or cut a 50mcg Accord tablet in half. Or alternate 50mcg one day and 100mcg the next day.
I was alternating 100 and 50 of Accord until I got my new prescription. Not sure what to do. I'm only 2 weeks into new dose. Feel shite but there are lots of other things going on do hanging in there.
I have created, and try to maintain, a document containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world.
I mix Accord and Wockhardt and that is fine for me. (Accord used to be called Actavis.) I avoid Mercury and Teva though, due to bad reactions in the past, but I suppose everyone is different.
I experienced exactly the same. I was on 75mcg and was getting different brands so spoke to my doctor and I am now taking 3 x 25mcg daily, all the same brand - sorted!
