What dose were you on when TSH was 7 ?What did they increase dose to after that ?

yes, it can take longer than 6 weeks to feel the effect of gradual improvements (i have sometimes felt gradual improvements over 8-12 weeks after a dose change..., but TSH 7 was very high ..so i would be surprised if it is in range this time unless they gave you a decent increase in dose.

yes . it's well worth being patient to see what happens over the next month or so, it's easier to understand what's happening if you take the long view.'Tortoise and Hare' and all that :)

Clearly 'something' is happening , am quite surprised your TSH dropped that much, will be interesting to see if it stay's there or has come back up a bit in another 5 weeks ....hang in there x

How much do you weigh in kilo approx

Guidelines on dose is 1.6mcg per kilo

Unless very petite likely to need at least 100mcg levothyroxine per day

Important to regularly retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

GP should have increased dose 18 months ago
