Hi. I just wondered, has anybody used iodine for underactive thyroid? I’ve seen supplements for it, but I’ve read reports that it can make things worse so I just thought I’d put the question out there. Thank you.

Only take iodine if you have been tested and shown to be lacking - even then it needs to be monitored.Otherwise it is not advised for hypo folks.
To get a balanced view you may like to read David Brownstein's book Iodine why you need it why you can't live without it
