Is there a connection between nocturnal sciatica and hypothyroidism?

For the last 6 weeks as soon as I sit down at the end of the day the pain starts in my left side. I feel it all night but not painful enough to disturb my sleep. Once I’m up and moving in the morning is stops and doesn’t return until the evening again.

I think so—and I think you’ll find a few of us do. For me, there seems to be a link between changes in dosage and/or times when my dosage needs upping.

But I also find damp weather does a complete number on it, and where I live (on the East Mids/East Anglia border), there’s been an awful lot of rain. ☔️

What do you do if anything to relieve it?

The only thing that really works is warmer weather and, when that’s in short supply, a session with my osteopath works wonders.
