Pressure in chest, headache & weary

Hi all

Has anyone experienced the above? I'm now on 125mcg of levo & think it's the right amount but...? Occasionally I would have an off day, but lately it's almost every day. I have a tight feeling in my chest, get weary, headachy, thick feeling at the back of my throat & want to swallow, earache has come back slightly in right ear (which I had when I was undermedicated) & generally feel out of sorts. I don't have any recent blood tests for you to check. I've had a letter to say that I will be seen by an Endo in a few weeks as I'm due to have an MRI to check my pituitary. Can you suggest anything that I should ask or have checked? I have wondered if it could be unrelated. When I mentioneded this tightness in my chest to my GP earlier last year she arranged for me to have my heart checked. I knew it wasn't my heart but they know best. My pituitary doesn't make TSH (non-functioning ??????).

Thank you.

As per previous post 5 months ago

Absolutely ESSENTIAL to regularly retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Can’t see any test results in previous posts....or any Ft3 result either

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Getting FULL Thyroid and vitamin testing

Essential to test Ft4 and Ft3

Low vitamin levels are EXTREMELY common, especially with Hashimoto’s and/or low Ft3

Tight chest often low iron/ferritin

What’s your diet like

Are you vegetarian or vegan

All four vitamins need to be OPTIMAL for levothyroxine

Can see from previous posts you are on strictly gluten free diet

Presumably you have Hashimoto’s

come back with new post once you get results

Thank you for replying. I will ask the Endo if these can be checked.

We always recommend getting full testing done BEFORE any consultation

Otherwise consultation is often a waste of time
