Hi everyone hope you are all keeping well. I need some advice please. I've been on levothyroxine for 18 months now since coming of NDT naturethyroid (I had been on levo for 45years before with not to many problems)but one menopause hit that all changed..I have tried levo liquid which made me really poorly and also lactose free levo I have still got permanent Nausea !!I have stayed on the levo now for another 3months but this daily nausea will not leave me ...doctors have given me the usual stuff omeprazole..did nothing at all to help so stopped those after 2 weeks..So I am going to try Armour Ndt and wanted some help regarding how much to take.
I am on 150mcgs of levothyroxine so what would this equate to in grains please.
Many thanks for all your help in advance.
Stay safe xx

Your references to nausea reminded me of me. Hashi's since 2007. I can see from my medical records that I spent the past couple of years going to see the GP every now and again with fatigue, nausea, loose stools. If I didn't sleep very well I'd suffer the next day with nausea like a hangover. This happened a lot. Eventually one of the GP's re-tested me for coeliac in Nov 2020. Have you been tested recently?
No I haven't actually ...but my diet is very much on those lines gluten free, dairy free, caffeine free, sugar free, soy free, I've never smoked or drank so ive tried everything Nell but just want some guidelines on dosage for armour.Hope you are well and thank you for your reply x
I’m so sorry to hear that you are still suffering with nausea if I were you I would go and see a private
Endocrinologist and get tested for celiac and anything else that can cause this awful nauseous feeling my heart goes out to you I’ve had two days of feeling sick after my COVID vaccine so you must be feeling terrible.
I really hope that armour works for you keep in touch let me know how you are doing
I’m back on Levo had to have an MRI something showed up regarding my pancreas so I panicked came off Thyrogold and boy do I know it that Levo makes me feel terrible too !
Thinking of you and hoping that you finally find something to make you feel well again
I have 2 endos .dont think I've spelt that right ...theve been no good Kaz paid thousands out privately...got nowhere but will get tested for celiac...1 of them said maybe try a little t3 so I've bought some might give that a try... you cant get thyrogold at the moment because I was going to try that but just cant keep taking this levo makes me feel so ill ....when I dont take it for a few days the nausea goes straight away.Anyways sending love stay safe and well xxxxx
