Hello everyone. My T3 medication expired last month, but I would not be able to get it for 3 more months, unfortunately. Will I be OK to continue taking it? I currently take 50 mcg per day. Should I take more to compensate for the fact it is expired now? Thank you and I hope you are all well xxx

I'm currently taking out of date Tiromel with no problems. I believe T3 lasts for years if stored properly, you will know soon enough if it has lost it's potency!

I am using T3 with an expiry date of August 2019, no loss of potency and not had to use more than my normal dose. If kept in a cool dark place there should be no deterioration or loss of potency.
My T3 ( Tiromel) expired about 6 months ago and I haven't noticed any change in potency.I store it in a box in a drawer under the bed so it's away from heat and light.
Good luck.
