Hi all,

Does anyone know how much liquid levothyroxcine is when purchased privately?

I was seeing a professor who gave me a trial of T3 for six weeks which didn’t improve symptoms so he discharged me basically. I emailed him asking if we could try liquid levo and he said yes but said it’s expensive.

100ml bottle - 5ml doses at 50mcg = £93.94 for 20 doses

Might be cheaper privately

If it improved your symptoms NHS would have to prescribe.....can take a few months to sort out
