Perhaps more likely tremor medication is for Parkinson’s
For a detailed understanding I suggest you talk to your Parkinson’s disease consultant or specialist nurse. Levodopa increases the amount of dopamine in the brain and globally reduces the symptoms of Parkinson’s not just the tremor, whilst primidone is used for the essential tremor component but is ineffective for the ataxia or difficulty in speech.
