Hi guys, so doc called today. My nerves have been all over the place. So so bad from as soon as I wake up. Doc says I'm taking too much levo (100mcg) when I should actually be taking 175mcg. She says it's the levo causing it when I know increasing the dose will actually help it. My partner wrote a 3 page letter to the doc basically educating her with stuff we have researched and tips u guys have given me in my last post. How is it so hard to get adequate help?

My GP told me on two occasions that I may as well be talking to a plumber as he knew nothing about the thyroid. He said he just followed the blood tests and ranges. I changed to another GP now I’m sorted.

Hey there again

Well I think you need to consider seeing a different doctor or even changing surgeries.

The only other alternative is to buy additional Levothyroxine yourselfand top up your medication -

Were you on 175 T4 at some point in time and know this dose suited you and felt well ?

Do you have blood tests from that time to share with the forum members ?

You could start a new post simply asking members for Private Messages of a trusted source to purchase Levothyroxine on line.
