Folic acid as (6S)-5-methyltetrafolic acid is that a good Folate?

Hi everyone,

I came across this oral spray from Better You sold as Folic Acid. However in the ingredients part, it says it's as (6S)-5-methyltetrafolic acid.

So is it a good folate? I looked it up online, and it says that it's the best natural form of Folate...

I know from here we're supposed to take folate rather than folic acid so I'm a bit confused about this one.

Is anybody taking it?

As you have found that information, why are you confused?

(6S)-5-methyltetrafolic acid or 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) is the active form of B9, i.e. folate so yes, that's good.

Thank you seaside Susie. Sorry for asking. It's just I wanted to double check to be sure as I thought we're better to take the folate rather than folic acid. All the infos around tend to confuse me sometimes... Thank you!
