exhausted.whole.tv/episodes/ This is the last episode of this well done series covering fatigue and exhaustion but the tests that only functional doctors prescribe and use to make very significant and decisive changes through that knowledge. If you have time you will see that answers are abundant when you have proper testing.

Organic Oats urine test - hundreds of metabolites

Toxicity Panel urine test

Nutrient Panel - IGG test for food intolerances

Gene testing - value increases over time. CYP182 tells if you are a fast metabolizer CYP2D6 if codeine makes you sick

Stool tests identify microbes and pathogens or parasites

Discussion on adaptogens

Rhodiola Rosea

Holy Basil breaks down cortisol

Skullcap is cooling but for sleep 10 grams

Jill Carnahan, one of the speakers had breast cancer at 25 and crohn's at 26.

That's great. We need to be informed if our doctors won't.

Episode 5:

The Sympathetic Nervous Sysgtem leads to Fight, Flight or Freeze

Fight or flight uses adrenaline primarily

Freeze or faint uses cortisol primarily

Are you in Freeze or Faint? You can be cortisol resistant similar to insulin resistant. Wearing a glucose monitor for a day is a way to test. High cortisol: even emotional trauma will start this chain of events and, of course, survival

will trample everything else. Hormones for reproduction are going to go away. Adrenals will steal from ovarian hormones or testicular hormones so when cortisol eventually flattens your hormones become very imbalanced. Then

pancreas and thyroid is impaired leading to diabetes. Cultural trauma is also around us.

Care, support and healing of the adrenals is at the last fifteen minutes of this episode.
