DNA TEST

Hi All

Has anyone on here taken a DNA test to get there health back with out meds ,or done diets like the Amy Meyer reversing autoimmune disease.

Can you thyroid be reversed , I was always told I will be on meds for life .

Megan if you have autoimmune thyroid disease aka hashimotos, your immune system attacks your thyroid slowing killing it off. You cannot reverse the damage that has been done to your thyroid. The damage means that your thyroid is producing hormones at a reduced level so you will need to top up those hormones. Forever.

So whether or not Amy Meyer can stop an autoimmune disease, and I doubt she can, (hashi's can go into remission for months but it does come back) she cannot reverse the damage that has already been done.
