B complex without biotin
I take cytoplan organic vitamin B complex - which does not contain biotin.

Is there a reason for not wanting Biotin included?
The whole point of a B Complex is to give you the full range of B vitamins to keep them all balanced.
Yes but you are probably not going to like it. I have just had a fresh NHS endo appt as my Graves’ disease has reactivated. He was aware of the effect of biotin on blood test results. I explained that I always stopped taking biotin 4-5 days prior to any blood test. But the doctor he had to consult with seemed to think you need to be off biotin for 6 weeks! I can’t find anything to back this up. Everything I can find says a few days, maximum I could find was 7 days. I really don’t think he’s right at all but you know how it is and it’s all about picking your battles!
So am wondering to whether just comply with this and take an complex with no biotin for a bit hence my question, or to go back and say no I think you are wrong in this one.
The ridiculous thing is the endo consultant I haven’t even spoken to is trying to suggest that my results may be out of range because of the biotin however I have clear overactive symptoms, so blatantly not the case.
So anyway the endo I spoke to was pretty good. Really listened and seemed young but reasonably knowledgable. He had to refer everything to an old consultant though who I think is going to ruin him!
Anyway just weighing up options.
