Hello

Teva brand is gluten/lactose free but many people on here find they can’t tolerate it. I’m one of the lucky ones who could and my test results improved significantly - I was able to absorb more of it I guess, being gluten/lactose intolerant like you. I’ve now switched to Erfa NDT however, and am doing even better.
I believe liquid Levothyroxine is free of these. I take liquid Levothyroxine.
I'm willing to try liquid levothyroxine as the lactose free one gave me debilitating overall joint pain. Thank you for this suggestion.
In the UK, Aristo and Teva are lactose-free.
No UK levothyroxine products contain gluten. In fact, very few UK medicines contain wheat at all.

Thank you.
Please can I check- if you cant tolerate a certain brand, would your levels still be able to get to optimal or is this a reason you cannot get levels right?
My reaction is to think that it would depend on why you find one make intolerable. If the issue affects your stomach, that in turn could affect absorption. But if it did something entirely different, like give you a headache, then maybe it would not affect absorption, nor change the effects of the levothyroxine itself.
Mind, I don't have any evidence - this is just thinking it through.
Hello. I take Tirosent, which is Levothyroxine without any fillers, etc. I seem to be doing well on it after being on Synthroid for many years. I'm in the states, so not I'm not sure if they have it near you. Hope that helps. 😀
