Immunology community on Health Unlocked?

Can anyone tell me if there's a community on HealthUnlocked, or elsewhere, that covers immunology cases? I need to ask questions about my low level of Immunogloblin M. Need to find information that comes from others like me!

I have hypothyroidism, and been told my IGM levels are (slightly) below the normal range. Can't help but wonder if the 2 are linked.

This may sound daft - but I don't actually know! I was diagnosed as hypothyroid 18 years ago - the GP didn't mention what or why - just stuck me on levothyroxine, and I eventually won my battle to trial liothyronine last year.

Hi, sorry it's taken me a while to get back on here - a busy couple of days! I currently take 20mcg liothyronine, (split in two doses) and 75mcg of levo.

I initially felt a clearing of my brain fog, and have managed my first year of not suffering with upper respiratory tract infections. I also noticed that my recently diagnosed paroxysmal atrial fibrillation hasn't been triggered for a year!

However, I still suffer with old symptoms - which makes me think I need a higher level of lio. (and probably a whole heap of vitamins, minerals and good gut flora!)

I can't help wondering how long I've had low igM levels for, and whether it's linked to my hypothyroidism. Would be helpful to hear from anyone with similar circumstances, or to find a reliable website with immunology information.

I'm sorry I've raved on about my own history - I hope you are keeping well? Do you mind me asking what brought you to Health Unlocked?
