Magnesium levels are low in hyperthyroidism, probably due to renal loss of magnesium.

Did you find out if you have Hashimoto's?

All hypothyroid patients frequently have low vitamin levels..

But especially if cause is hashimoto's

Important to regularly retest vitamin D folate ferritin and B12

Many people need to supplement virtually continuously to maintain optimal vitamin levels

High dose T-4 can actually help deplete the electrolytes. High T4 dose can make some thirsty and have dry mouth . It's very important to be on the right nutrients not to deplete valuable vitamins e.g. vitamin "D" /K2 , B-Complex , B-12/folate , magnesium, vitamin"C" , Iron if your low, Celtic Sea Salt for electrolytes/adrenals.
