I have 90/111 of the symptoms for Hypothyroidism, and yet my doctor refuses to acknowledge my concerns. These have been increasing year on year. My generic serum TSH level (miu/L) is 1.9. Does this sound normal.
I anticipating the usual fob off when i try to re-approach.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Best wises,

He will definitely say that's perfect! But, what he doesn't understand is that a TSH on its own doesn't tell you anything much. Your thyroid hormones could still be low, even with a 'perfect' TSH. You need:
TSH
FT4
FT3
TPO antibodies
Tg antibodies
vit D
vit B12
folate
ferritin
And, if he won't do them all - which I doubt he will! - the only solution is to do private testing, I'm afraid.
