Blood results and T3

Hi, these are my latest blood results. I'm guessing there is some room for improvement? Could someone tell me if it would be wise to start t3 to see if it makes me feel any better?

Your Ft3 at 38%through range is lagging slightly behind your ft4 at 54% through range. Your tsh is slightly high for someone on levo.

Initially I would suggest an increase in levo and retest in 8 weeks.

Also check that vitamins are optimal.

Adding t3 is not an easy or quick fix. I am 9 months into it and still adjusting doses of levo and lio.

If the next increase and optimal vitamins doesn't improve things then would be the time to think again about t3.

Agree with Lalatoot - would only add that as levo is so much easier/cheaper to come by, if increasing this gets you to where you need to be, it's a real win

This helps to see how high/low your ‘through range’ is. What most of us what to see is a higher through range number, this can also be helpful to see if you are a poor convertor.

Is that a Thriva blood test you’ve done? If so you should get your Vits/minerals checked too. Make them optimal along with increasing your Levo by 25mcg at a time. Hold, restest and raise again if needed.

You may well need to add T3 but not just yet, get your ducks in a row first. 🤗
