Private blood test - Bolton?

Need some advice suffering with all symptoms of Hpothyroidism - been tested several times most recently 12 months ago always told levels in range! Mum sister aunt and cousin all have it! I am so fed up of feeling this way! How do I get a test privately?

That test would either be Blue Horizon Thyroid PREMIUM GOLD which can be done by fingerprick at home or venous blood draw, or Medichecks Thyroid Check ULTRAVIT WITH FOLATE which needs a venous blood draw. Both companies have information about partner clinics or hospitals or home phlebotomy, with prices, if you need venous blood draw.

When you have results, come back and post them, with reference ranges, for members to comment.

Thyroid tests should be done no later than 9am, before eating or drinking anything but water.

It would also be a good idea to ask the receptionist at your surgery for a print out of your previous results. In the UK we are legally entitled to our test results without charge or question. Always get a print out, never verbal or hand written results then there will be no mistakes in either results or reference ranges.
