Anyone on high dose t3?

Been taking high 175mcg for years

I had to give up on T3 only at 75mcg ( hypothyroid and trying to get rid of fibromyalgia symptoms) as blood sugar levels risen by 5 x plus ( and I was already an insulin dependent diabetic). Presumably you are resistant and need the high dose?

Yes but having hashimotos it fluctuates from day to day it’s easy to overdose have to be real careful as I have AF caused by a work related court case a few years ago

I had /have Hashimoto’s but think my thyroid effectively gone after 20 years so don’t have the swings anymore...must say I’d have been reluctant to use just T3 while I was potentially having highs / lows cos of Hashimoto’s. Do you keep your folate, b12, ferritin, and vit D maintained at high optimal end?

Hi,

Yes I have been taking high doses (but split dose over 24hrs) - just in the process of reducing a little as had a few symptoms of possible over replacement.

But generally had felt very well. I have Addison's Disease (Adrenal Insufficiency) as well & am aware that I clear drugs super fast - hence the spilt dosing.
