Hi again, so here are my results from medical checks for my thyroid. Looks like everything is within normal range. Was wondering if anyone can interpret anything else from these results. My GP has agreed to do iron studies after showing her my results. But reluctantly, as she states these results are only slightly elevated. Still having a lot of joint pain, stiffness, fluid retention in legs and constipation

Results from Medichecks, confused
Some joint issues could be due to low vitamin D
Vitamin D
GP will often only prescribe to bring levels to 50nmol.
Some areas will prescribe to bring levels to 75nmol
leedsformulary.nhs.uk/docs/...
GP should advise on self supplementing if over 50nmol, but under 75nmol (but they rarely do)

But, improving to around 80nmol or 100nmol by self supplementing may be better

Folate is deficient- has GP prescribed folic acid?
Look at eating more folate rich foods
Supplementing a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in not folic acid may be more beneficial than just folic acid
chriskresser.com/folate-vs-...
B vitamins best taken in the morning after breakfast
Igennus Super B complex are nice small tablets. Often only need one tablet per day, not two. Certainly only start with one tablet (Or even half a tablet) per day after breakfast.
Or Thorne Basic B or jarrow B-right are other options that contain folate, but both are large capsules
If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Thyroid results look ok ...no antibodies...
Perhaps retest in 3-6 months after improving vitamin levels
