Probably not a good idea if it contains iodine, unless you happen to be deficient, which most people (at least in the UK) are not . Algae are a good source of iodine. If you are hypothyroid too much iodine can actually damage thyroid tissue more.
I don't know about the oil though. There should be a list of the nutrients, or contact the manufacturers.
Just had a bit of a look around and found this short article. It seems that algal oil may be fine for you after all. In fact I'm thinking of getting some!
