Test results
Picture is very fuzzy and difficult to read
Can you type Ft4 and Ft3 results and ranges
No folate, B12 or vitamin D
Low MCHC?
FT4 14.3. (5.1 11.9). FT32.3 (2.3 4.2)
Don’t know what MCHC is we could ask ? Asked for Vitamin D Ferritin B12 & Folate. Gynaecologist Obstetrics Dr said don’t test. Maybe get this done privately when back in the Uk.
Most abbreviations and acronyms that you find used here are in my document:

The Lab Tests Online sites are very useful for checking test names and what they mean.
Sober Ft4 is just above top of range...but her Ft3 is right at bottom of range
This shows poor conversion of levothyroxine (Ft4) into the active Ft3
Often conversion can be improved by keeping vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin levels optimal
When did she last have these tested?
What supplements is she currently taking?
Recommend she gets FULL thyroid and vitamin testing privately
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Is this how she does her tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins
