Normal body temperatures

My temperature when I first wake up in the morning, through underarm measurement according to Broda Barnes is 36.0 - 36.1. My temperature always rises to 36.8 or above after breakfast though. What are your temps like, and are mine ok?

Hi

If you take your meds in the morning at say 7am there is no point taking your temperature first thing. You’ve been without meds a day.

You need 4 temps per day and take the average.

If it’s it’s below 36.50 you meds are too low. If they vary more than 0.3 from the average of the 4 your adrenals are not fully working( see drmyhill.co.uk and search under orchestra in the search engine on the top right hand corner of the home page).

36.8 is a good reading.

Absolutely

The link above is from one of the country’s top Endos.

I’d suggest you read it she’s over 5000 patients.

Dr Rind is also mentioned too.

Dr Lowe a top Doctor ( sadly he died) used several a day.

It also works for many of my patients and myself too.

please can i ask you if NDT is safe to take if you one has low blood pressure? and do you need to supplement adrenavive with NDT? some say you need the glandular adrenavive and some dont. What do you think?

Well if someone has ultra low blood pressure it needs investigation.

I can only speak from personal experience, I do have low blood pressure but have no side effects. Ndt works best for me.

I’d never take any adrenal supplements/ medication without a 24 hour saliva test for cortisol and dhea.( both)

Adrenavive is a decent product but again you need a reason to take it. Plus it’s expensive so I have the test first. Once you’ve had the test one we can all help more.

If you read drmyhill.co.uk and search under adrenal gland the gear box you should find it v helpful, it takes you through the different adrenal issues.

If I can help more please do ask. Good luck.
