Lyposuction Utube any thoughts

I have just be looking at lipo suction on utube as I have been wondering if it is really fat they are removing or mucin. It is hard to tell. Doctor was holding up two bags of what he called fat, orange colour and very liquid, looked a bit oily on top. He said it was like chicken fat. What was coming down the tubes looked like fat a bit but could it have been just cells and blood? Is anyone else brave enough to have a look? I think they are removing tissue not fat and that human fat would be like pig fat, quite hard. Is the while business of fat a lie?

Mucin is part of the skin, I doubt they'd be able to suck that up. I don't feel like watching that particular video, but I have seen them before, and pretty certain it's fat. :)

One of my friends had liposuction on her thighs and she was left with scars on her legs. I really don't get why some younger women put themselves through it. She was married to an older man in his fifties who is a friend of ours. She also had botox, lip fillers and a boob job. She is in her late 20s and it looks terrible. She asked if I wanted the name of her surgeon and I said no because I am frightened something might go wrong. What I really meant was I didn't want a trout pout.

I think surgery can be addictive for some people. I was just interested as to whether what we are told is fat are water logged cells caused by being hypo. I am off for a tattoo today ( my first) that's as near to cosmetic surgery I will ever go and I am only doing that once.

Some tattoo inks have been found in lymph nodes, meaning that they migrate. Your body; your choice.

It is very small and likely to be better for my health than harmful because of the nature of it. Done now anyway.

I was offered a free tattoo by one of my husbands clients. So having always wanted a small butterfly along I went with my friend. Well it was horrific! Men and women with blood dripping off their skin, people having their tongues pierced and other body parts Why??. I came home tattoo free and my friend had a lovely free tattoo in the small of her back. I don't ever want one now but I do occasionally have a henna tattoo when on holiday which does wash off.

You see this body mutilation happening in the US to the older Hollywood actors and actresses .... they all look related even though you they aren't. I have to admit I would love some fat removal 😁

I don't want any plastic surgery. Where I have my nails done they are now offering botox. I was asked if I was interested and I told them I did not want a frozen face thank you. Then unfortunately someone who was having her nails done piped up that she had botox and lip fillers. She was in her 30s and I looked and thought "horrible" but I was polite for once and said "Very nice but it is not for me I am going grow old disgracefully" Even my hairdresser has had lip fillers and she is only 27 and it looks terrible. I blame social media for all these big lips and pouts myself.

All fat is pretty liquid when it is warm. Put a bit of hard white pig fat on your hand and watch what your body heat does to it. There will be cells and blood but the vast majority of it will be fat.

Not suitable for cooking chips in though! :)

Yes.I read somewhere probably on here that hypothyroid people have lots of water logged tissue and cells and have been trying to ascertain how much of what is removed is that or real fat. I suppose f it is warm in the theatre as they often are it might be more liquid fat. I have been told all my life that I am fat but I just wonder how much of that fat is swollen hypothyroid tissue. My child is very obese and this literally happened over night. He went to bed slim and got up fat so It couldn't be real fat. I take nothing I am told by the NHs for granted anymore and try and check it all out for myself. I would like to see autopsy of very obese person so I can examine it all for myself.

It is not the temp of the operating theatre, it is the temp of the body from which the fat is being sucked. Google fat cells to see what they look like. An obese person on the operating table has layers of yellow bubbly fat under the skin which does not like being held in place and can be quite a problem.

You can tell if it is water retention or fat by pressing on an area with your thumb and holding it for around 15 seconds. If it leaves a depression it is fluid, if it pings back it is fat. Severe water retention is quite a serious condition as it puts a strain on all the organs and veins. Take your lad to the GP and they can arrange an appointment for a scan to see if it is fat or fluid, and do a kidney test. Make him drink a lot of fluid, which may sound wrong, but it can flush out a problem.

There is probably a You Tube video somewhere of an autopsy but I am not going to look!
