Thyroid levels shot up again after being settled for 6 weeks 😔

Hi everyone! So I had my bloods done on Wednesday and as I suspected my levels have shot up again!! They have been settled since end of December after I came out of hospital 4 weeks earlier with a thyroid storm. My GPs have put me back on weekly bloods! Scared is not the word😟 Has anyone else’s levels settled and then spiked again? Waiting to see an endo beginning of March🙄 I’m on propylthiouracil 300mg and propranolol 120mg!

I'm sorry you have had a fright. Members who've had 'thyroid storm' will respond when they read your post. Do you have the results of your latest blood tests you can post so that it will enable members to respond.

That's fine. I don't know how people cope with a thyroid storm and wish you a speedy return to normal 'thyroid' health.

Thank you! Yeh it was awful and so scary. I was blue lighted to hospital from my GPs and was fighting for my life in resus! Just hope endo can sort me once and for all!
