Please can someone confirm what I already suspect, my friend is terribly ill all the typical hypo symptoms and gp said she was NOT hypo so I advised her to go medichecks and I'd ask her , these are the only tests she has and these are the only levels so she doesn't have any other results , it looks like hypo and hashis and lacking vitamin D3 but I'm no expert please advise as gp said these results are fine

Help for a friend please

clinox.info/clinical-suppor...
Picture doesn’t show antibodies results
Can you add them
What about her Ft3 and T3? Yes I can only load one at a time can I add results in a message to you please ?
TSH 2.1
FT3 4.13
FREE THROXINE 14.9
thyroglobulin antibodies 264
Thyroid peroxidose 65.3
Thanks so much
At moment her thyroid levels would be classed as sub clinical...though FT4 and Ft3 are low
But once she gets all four vitamins optimal...likely to see that TSH will rise
Her high antibodies confirms hashimoto’s
Hashimoto's affects the gut and leads to low stomach acid and then low vitamin levels
Low vitamin levels affect Thyroid hormone working
Poor gut function can lead leaky gut (literally holes in gut wall) this can cause food intolerances. Most common by far is gluten. Dairy is second most common.
According to Izabella Wentz the Thyroid Pharmacist approx 5% with Hashimoto's are coeliac, but over 80% find gluten free diet helps, sometimes significantly. Either due to direct gluten intolerance (no test available) or due to leaky gut and gluten causing molecular mimicry (see Amy Myers link)
Changing to a strictly gluten free diet may help reduce symptoms, help gut heal and slowly lower TPO antibodies
While still eating high gluten diet ask GP for coeliac blood test first or buy test online for under £20, just to rule it out first
Assuming test is negative you can immediately go on strictly gluten free diet
(If test is positive you will need to remain on high gluten diet until endoscopy, maximum 6 weeks wait officially)
Trying gluten free diet for 3-6 months. If no noticeable improvement then reintroduce gluten and see if symptoms get worse
