I’ve recently read taking levo at night is far better than taking it in the morning. Does anyone do this and how are you as a result?

Thoughts on changing am to pm levo
Personally, I didn't find any difference.
I have taken mine at night for the past 30 years, have tried other times, but i forget. Pretty sure my doc told me-to take it it night when ifirst started.

Taking it at night made a big difference to me, I absorb it better so my T3 level remains in the upper of the range where it should be.
I think the study that looked at the difference actually was around taking it further away from food. After over 20 years I find my habit is to take in the morning and I always need snacks/ supper before bed or would forget if out so find morning works best for me.
Consistency is the most important thing, even if that’s near a cup of weak tea in the morning. Other studies found that even if taken with breakfast some were fine, obviously they were on a dose that worked for them.
If you try it, the key thing is to do so for 2-3 months, and you’d ideally get a test. But remember that if on t4 you make a bit more t3 from it in the summer months so a perceived difference in how you feel in April could be due to that.
I have always taken my levothyroxine at bed-time - so have no comparison with taking it in the morning.
I do not believe I have had any issues from bed-time dosing. And one of the first improvements I noticed, when I started, was improved sleep. I had been falling asleep for a while, then waking for hours. Night after night. As my dose increased, that stopped and I now rarely wake up, and effectively never find that I cannot get back to sleep.
