Interesting thread about a Taylor Bianco paper on cholesterol and criteria for combination trials. I can’t read the paper (Nature paywall). Thread suggests cholesterol as a surrogate/test for brain fog. So glad to see any work on this.

I found that interesting. Among many other issues, my dad has cholesterol, glucose, Afib issues. I took him to the GP and asked for a FT4 and FT3 test. Doc refused to test FT3. I told him there is a correlation between too-low levels and heart palps. He tested TSH and FT4. When the results came back, he said he needed further testing. Supposedly that set was ok. I have heard that many times. SMH. Doc and labcorp was suppose to mail them a copy of the BW. Of course nothing arrived. My parents refuse to look into it further.
