So just seen endo my thyroid only just in range on 50mcg levo, still having symptoms that i had when on 75mcg, says my cortisol is borderline low so wants to do further testing in next few weeks, a little scared at what he is looking for, anyone else had experience with low cortisol etc,
My main symptons over last year have been tachycardia, muscle weakness and hot flushing on and off and fatigue.
Also doing more hormone tests

Why was your levo reduced from 75 mcg to 50? 50 mcg is only a starter dose. And, when you say your 'thyroid' is only just in-range, which test do you mean? TSH?
Just looked at your last post and you are under-medicated. I'm no expert, but I don't think you can expect your cortisol to be right if you are still hypo.
Thyroid was totally stopped for 3 weeks back in june because of hyper type symptons was then restarted on low dose 25mcg and have increased now to 50mcg its sitting at 3.99 atm range 0.40 -4.00 tsh, i never had any probs with thyroid meds for last 13 years and was ok on 75mcg but last year something went wrong, endo now thinks my symptons were not thyroid related at all and something else, last 2 cortisol have come back borderline?
I do have hashis, my results at time were not showing overmedication but my symptons tachycardia, sweating, shaking, heavy muscles, fatigue generally not well, i was desperate as docts could not find answer, so agreed to stop thyroid for 3 weeks to see if i improved, im definitely better but in last week have been having hot flushes along with headaches and muscle weakness in calfs and forearms, im waking in night and sweating, im starting to think its something else aswell as had symptons on 75mcg as well and prior have been good on this dose, just over it been going on for over year now, have good days and think its turning around and then bam back again??
I know i need improvement in thyroid but slow process
Not that slow. Levo can be increased by 25 mcg every six weeks. You were probably under-medicated at 75 mcg, too. Those don't sound like particularly 'hyper' symptoms to me. Could very well have been hypo symptoms.
The fact that you were good on 75 mcg before proves nothing. Don't forget that Hashi's is a progressive disease. The thyroid is constantly under attack and slowly dying. And 75 mcg is still only a very small dose. Your dose needs to keep up with the destruction of your thyroid.
That makes sense, i think ill just increase myself as feeling like docts think im a hypochondriac, if only they could live in our bodies for a day, thanks for replying
