Any advice for a secondary adrenal insufficiency patient on joining Pituitary. org or the Addison’s group. I cant afford both and cant decide which would benefit me most. Anybody able to give an opinion?

Hidden can probably help - she is knowledgeable on the subject of the adrenals and the pituitary.

Hi I have adrenal insufficiency due to a pituitary tumour, I'm a member of both the Pituitary foundation & the Addison's Society. I think the Pituitary foundation is cheaper, the ADSHG is quite expensive I feel! If you are Facebook then join the Pituitary Foundation & join the UK Addison's info & support group on FB. They are a great source of information & support. I probably go on the Pituitary foundation site more than the Addisons one, however I run a FB group for people with Cushing's which comes under their umbrella. I'm always happy tpo help if I can, I've had SAI for 4 + years now.

Hi PaulineS. I think youve given me advice in the past, a few months ago. I remember you being very knowledgeable! Im struggling like mad at the moment, with this and other health problems, and also a mountain of other stuff. Im going to take my time in the next day or so, when i feel up to it, and tell you my full story and ask all the questions ive got whizzing round in my head. Ive had an unbelievable fight to get diagnosed and am still trying to get information i need about this condition, as i have been given no advice, help, information at all whatsoever, from my local hospital. Im pretty sure i spoke to you when i was trying to get diagnosed, maybe even in a private message. Ill have to look back. But any help or info i can get would be much appreciated xxxxx.
