Diagnosed hypo in 2016. Been on Levi since. What would cause my free T4 to go from .9 to 1.6 within a couple of months?

As per my reply to previous post

You need FULL Thyroid and vitamin testing

Low vitamin levels cause poor conversion of FT4 to FT3, leading to higher FT4 and lower FT3

My lab work says .8 - 1.7. Being you asked, why are there so many different ranges?

Because they are based on the population local to the lab doing the testing !

So your FT4 has improved which is what you want. Now for the important FT3 test result ?

When my free T4 was .9 I was sleeping fine. Now I can’t sleep.

This latest round my dr didn’t test my free t3 even though I asked, but my latest free t3 was 2.8
