I have recently been put onto 75mcg of levothryoxine and went from being on 50mcg actavis/northstar to 75mcg TEVA. The frist three days of the 75mcg I started getting extremely nauseous. It got worse and worse until day 3 I was extremely unwell. I have heard before about TEVA being problematic and had been on it at 25mcg before during which I also had problems and so trialed a few days of taking my leftover northstar split to make 75 and have since been absolutely fine - no nausea at all. I called the pharmacy (lloyds) and they checked with their supplier but said they only supply TEVA in 75. I'm currently splitting whats left of my northstar but there is no way I can go back on the TEVA it was horrendous. Do actavis/northstar do 75mcg and if so has anyone had any luck with lloyds or a different pharmacy? Thanks!

Nobody else makes a 75mcg dose tablet; however, you can achieve that dose by either using 50mcg plus 25mcg tablets, or alternate 100/50mcg tablets or use 1 and a half 50mcg tablets.
If you have done well with Actavis/Northstar (note that Almus is also Actavis rebranded for Boots) then it would be best to stick with that and alternate 100/50 or just use 50mcg tablets and use one and a half tablets, they're easy enough to cut with a pill cutter or craft knife.
