Extreme TRAB levels (2577 iu/L)

Extreme TRAB levels. Hello all. I am being treated for severe Graves disease. I had I131 treatment three months ago. Since then, my TRAB levels have increased to 2577 I/L (from 40 and 255 prior to iodine treatment. TRAB should be less than 0.55, so I am tracking at around 5000 times (the maximum) normal levels. The levels are off the charts. My specialist is confused. Any ideas??

Thanks for this. I have read the article, which was interesting. The worrying thing for me is that the levels they were dealing with were topping out at 40 or so, whereas I am peaking at 2577. I have passed it on to my specialist, so I shall see what she says! Thanks again. Geoff.
