Dilemma

This is really for those of you who also have AF! When you wake about 5am ready to take your thyroid tablets and your heart is having a party, Levo or a PIP? xx

Depends how long your AF usually lasts and what your Dr has told you to do, I would only take my pip if the AF was going on to long.

I took thyroid tablets and then pip two hours later but now well into an episode which could last up to three days! Luckily, although very breathless, heart rate never gets too violent.

Personally if my AF was lasting that long I would take the pip first and Levo later as you really want to try and stop the AF as soon as poss.

Wouldn't it be better to take regular meds rather than a pip if you can be in AF for days ?

Unfortunately my surgery cannot see that I need to take 100 Flecanide morning and evening and will only give me box of 28x50 which last one week. Trying to eke them out as away in motorhome

Sounds like you need to get in touch with your Cardiologist if your GP is being difficult.
