I think every one should automatically have a base line thyroid test at some point (before any thyroid medication) which could be compared with any future lab results
But, at what age? At birth? Pre-teen,? When?
I guess that would put the cat amongst the pigeons!
The endo I saw tested TT4!
So yes, more funding is needed.
