Hi put anybody advise me if possible I'm on 125mg of levothyroxine but it's two brands the 25mg is Mercurypharma which I think is the one that is making my knee joints hurt had plantar fasciitis neck pain and shoulder pain as this is the one that I first started on so I was wondering if I took 150mg one day and 100mg the next day and so on the 100mg is Almus brand . To see if this would alleviate some of the aches and pains.

My body would not like that! Too big a jump between the days. Scalpel and cut 100mcg in 4?

Hi thanks I will try and cut them into 4 but they are so tiny anyway.

You can get a pill cutter which is quit successful. I got mine at the chemist and all size pills can be cut. Hope this helps. My body would not like the jump either, nor would it tolerate two different brands of levo. I find mercury pharma the best of the lot. I have Hashimoto's and find I get less of the highs and lows and am a bit more stable, although I still feel rubbish most of the time. Good luck.x

No problem with alternating if it suits you. Give it a try and see how you go.

I need 115mcg Levo a day and have 100s and 50s so I cut a 50mcg in half and over a period of 5 days I take 125/100/125/100/125 and it suits me.

I have previously alternated 100/50 with no problem.

Just give it a go.
