Hi I keep reading t3 has a half life of a day or so . And then I read in Paul robinsons book to take your tablets before 5 pm at least so they have worn off before bed . But how can they have worn off if they last a day in your body . I want to try Paul Robinson regime but the above contradiction puts me off

Can anyone clarify please

Thankyou again

Poppy. What Paul Robinson is talking about is the Circadium Rythmn early morning slot of time. You can use the early morning to increase production from your adrenals. This is a very poweful technique so has to be done with great care as if you over cook yourself you can make yourself ill. I used to do it years ago for a while. I didnt take the whole of my ndt in the early morning slot -just a part of my daily ndt dose. The rest of my ndt I took at lunchtime. Hope that helps to clarify.

Paul Robinson has a facebook page and support group for T3 only (&I assume ndt. ) you might find that helpful for support with the circadium rhythmn technique.

Not a day in your body, a day in your blood. And, it doesn't wear off, exactly, it's not aspirin. Some gets absorbed into the cells, where it will stay for about three days.

What he means is that the peak will be over before bed. The moment when the T3 gets into the blood from the gut and is at its highest level. From there, it's all downhill, so to speak, until your next dose.

However, the peak in the blood doesn't affect everyone's sleep. I used to take quite a high dose just as I got into bed, and slept like a log. Don't do that now, because I take CBD oil just before bed. But, then, I don't follow Paul Robinson's method, anyway. :)

I have recently started taking T3 I take one dose 6.25mcg first thing in the morning when I wake up, and a second dose when I go to bed between 10.30 and 11, Must admit I was a bit worried in case the T3 kept me awake but I can honestly say, like greygoose said, I have never slept better. I have had brilliant sleep since I started taking it, if I wake up to go to the loo I go back to sleep almost instantly. I take the same dose at night as I do in the morning.

Additionally my blood pressure has dropped from (average figures) 138/85 to 126/75 over the last 6 weeks I have been taking T3, not sure if that is due to the T3 but very pleasing anyway, should make it easier to fend off anyone who wants to put me on BP medication.Lol. :)
