I have been under active for about 19 years, my doses have varied from time to time. But I always have problems when we have warm weather, I hate it. I feel uncomfortable all the time and feel as if my body isn’t able to deal with the warmth. I was always ok previously. Does anyone else ever have this issue?

Heat and Hypothyroidism
Absolutely. Hot weather and I don't get on at all. This mini heatwave we have at the moment sees me indoors in my living room which doesn't get the sun and is cool. I just don't tolerate these high temperatures, about 21 degrees C is enough for me.
Yes - I struggle with the heat too. I also suffer with the cold although that has been better since starting levothyroxine. There seems to be a narrow temperature band that I can tolerate so basically my friends think I'm always moaning about the weather whatever it is!
Its heat for me but only low 20’s. Last few days not needed socks in bed.

Do you sweat when hot?
My daughter suffers from this also. She is taking levothyroxine and has never been in optimal range. Her Dr. just raised her to 120 mg but she still is barely mid range when blood work is done. We are in the U S and have had a HOT summer. Perspiration rolls off her face like she just got out of a shower. I know it has something to do with her hypothyroidism, but her Dr. seems clueless.
