Sorry, are you referring to the problems with the Teva brand previously mentioned on the forum? If so, that does not mean your daughter will not tolerate it well.
50 mcg of T4 is a normal starting dose except for elderly patients and those with heart conditions.
Yes I am referring to the problems with the brand.
Just didn’t her to except this brand, especially as she is going to work away until Christmas.
Ok. I know some are doing well on Teva, and your daughter may as well. I hope others with personal experience will chime in.
Want her to accept the brand shouting have read.
Hi. I have no thyroid, was given Teva and not knowing any better have been on it for 3 yrs and it’s fine. It’s a try and see I’m afraid. She may well not have an issue, it’s a very widely used brand. All the best to your daughter in her work.
I have Teva and previously other brands without problems .But some folk have problems with a specific brand not just Teva although it seems to be complained about most often.
I prefer Teva. Was recently swapped to another brand and didn't like that at all so after 2 months I asked for Teva again. As the others are saying, it's very much a try it and see. Good luck!
TEVA was designed for those with Lactose intolerance but sadly was given to everyone so got a bad name through no fault of there own. But many have tried it and been fine so give it a go and see how it pans out.
