can an increase in levo raise CRP

I hope someone in the community can help with a question. My levo dose was increased from 50mg to 75mg which I have been taking for a month. My latest results show that the CRP has gone from 8.25 to 15.64 <5.0mg/l. Can the levo be the cause of this?

CRP is an inflammation marker. Unless Levo has caused inflammation then I'd say it wont affect CRP, but that's my layman's opinion. Can you think of a cause of inflammation or infection at the time the test was done?

Thanks, seaside Susie for the reply, thinking about it I have had backache for over a week, that will probably be why.
