High cholesterol is a symptom of hypothyroidism. Suggests you are not optimally medicated. If you post your results for TSH, free t4 and Free T3 people can advise. High cholesterol does not causes illnesses, but is a symptom of something wrong - so you need to fix the thing that is wrong, not artificially suppress the cholesterol. Never heard of cardio K cholesterol pills - they might contain red yeast rice. High cholesterol in the elderly is associated with a longer lifespan - ie high cholesterol means you live longer, so don't fix the wrong thing

Getting to an optimal dose should also get you to the right cholesterol level for you - stay well.

I read that T3 helps reducing cholesterol.

Since I take T3 my blood pressure is improved, in the past it was 140/88, after starting on T3 it’s 120/84

Btw, I had high cholesterol, I think T3 has reduced it and that resulted in better blood pressure

Do you take meds for your blood pressure and cholesterol? How long were you on T3 before your blood pressure stabilized? Thank you
