How much Levothyroxine are you currently taking and when was dose last increased?

The FT4 result has no range

Just testing TsH and FT4 is also completely inadequate

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also extremely important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if Thyroid antibodies are raised

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).

Is this how you do your tests?

If your GP can't/won't test Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or all vitamins

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random

Sorry, would like to help but the picture is very hard to see (I have slight cataracts as well). Is the TSH 0.6? Which sounds OK except TSH is a very unreliable indicator of your actual thyroid health. T4 is probably within range, but again that and T3 both need to be near top of range for most of us to feel well.

Maybe you can get T3 and T4 tested together with a private test.

It would also help if you could type put at least some of the other results with ranges so we can see them better. Are any of them out of range? Ferritin, Folate and vitamins D and B12 are probably the most important tests if you are hypothyroid.

There are no ranges so it is not possible to comment

Gullysully84, This picture is impossible to read on my phone - even more so because it's a non-standard presentation. I strongly recommend typing these things out to everyone, unless there's a special reason to add a picture, but even then it's good to type out any numbers or text. Putting up a picture is asking a lot of the people you hope will comment on your results.

It looks like you two sets of TSH and FreeT4 results? But unfortunately don't have ranges. Was one of the TSHs 5.22? If so it's possible to say that they is quite high. But without ranges or seeing it properly I don't think I can say anything else.

I suggest you type these results out and post again. If you do make it a new post, so that more people will see it.

These are a lot of results, so it might be helpful to put your thyroid results and ferritin, folate, vit B12, and vit D at the top, followed by anything you think might be cause for concern. Although if you have no ranges at all you may just get people telling you they can't be interpreted without ranges again. Very rough things can sometimes be said about thyroid and vitamin results, but for less familiar tests I don't think people will be able to interpret. For me things like full blood counts have had quite a variety of ranges from different labs.

I'm looking at it on a 21 inch desktop monitor and I can't read it. Yes, I have my glasses on.

Not what you're looking for?
