T3 stopped

My dr prescribed t3 for a couple of years before stopping I’m sure In fact I know due to the extremely large hike in prices for what should be a cheap drug

How can they do this?

Due to immoral and outrageous price increase in T3 by uK pharmaceutical companies all patients prescribed T3 on NHS must be diagnosed as having clinical need of T3 by NHS endocrinologist

Obviously most CCG's are keen that their endocrinologists do NOT diagnose anyone as having clinical need .....So it's very important to pick your endocrinologist carefully

When T3 is stopped it's common for vitamin levels to drop

Very important to get regular FULL Thyroid and vitamin testing

New NHS England Liothyronine guidelines November 2018 clearly state on pages 8 & 12 that TSH should be between 0.4-1.5 when treated with just Levothyroxine

Note that it says test should be in morning BEFORE taking Levo thyroxine

Also to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin
