Hi guys,
Is it normal you are out of breath after doing any small task when your overactive?
Hi Lauren, yes I felt very breathless even when walking up the stairs, I even got out of breath when trying to hold a conversation. This can be a common symptom of overactive thyroid although not everyone experiences it, hope you feel better soon x
Hi Sal, thanks for your reply, Im only 33 and I feel like an old lady. ( no offence to anyone ) but I can’t deal I only done the hoovering and I’m knackered. Waiting on first appointment with specialist and on carbizmol 40mg till then. Hope your well also
I’m 33 as well lol and I really understand how you feel 😓 big hugs, I’m only starting to feel normal after 2 months on carbimazole, I think I got every side effect going- heart palpitations being the worst. I also suffer bad anxiety so coupled with thyroid I thought I was losing my mind. I could of slept all day I felt so weak, it will get better x
I suffer anxiety aswell been on beta blockers for years because of it. I know how your feeling also it’s horrible, Iv been signed of work for nearly 4 weeks into my third week now and I’m losing my mind x
I had to sign of work too, I’m a cleaner and I couldn’t of coped with it at all, it’s my 4th relapse into hyperthyroid so I’m getting radioiodine in two days time, not sure if I made the right choice. My anxiety is playing up big time at the thought of it. x
Yes. Doing the most basic things. I thought i was unfit until I was diagnosed over active x
